Nine cases of robbery were detected by the Totogo Police team over the last two weeks and all those arrested have been charged and produced in court.
Seven men were charged with the cases of burglary, theft, aggravated robbery, robbery and attempted robbery.
Chief Operations Officer, ACP Abdul Khan says their officers who were on patrol in the Suva City managed to prevent an attempted robbery case along Thompson Street where a man was arrested and charged.
ACP Khan says in one case of burglary and theft, investigators managed to recover two television sets.
He adds a task force has been set up in the Central Division to investigate all cases of burglaries and thefts and is also pursuing the receivers of stolen items.
