Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle that was involved in an accident in Lami this morning.
Police say the driver allegedly fled the scene of the accident after he hit the railing of a bridge past Tikaram Park in Lami.
Police say it is alleged that the man was intoxicated.
They say there was one passenger in the vehicle who is custody.
Police have removed the vehicle.
Investigations continue.
