Lautoka Police are requesting information for two people who were found inside a burnt taxi along the Viseisei Bypass in Lautoka last month that could assist in an ongoing investigation.

Police say while DNA analysis has confirmed the identity of the first victim, they are yet to identify the second victim.

Police say the only information on hand is that the victim is male.

DNA testing will be conducted and compared with samples gathered from the unknown victim.

They say if anyone has a member of their family missing from home to call Crimestoppers on 919 or 9905 178.
