The Fiji Police Force family has been reminded that while the focus is on winning with regard to the 2024 Ratu Sukuna Bowl campaign, the same should apply in the conduct of operations by ensuring a safe and conducive festive season for all.

While delivering his message during the Fiji Police Force 2024 Ratu Sukuna Bowl Tournament and festive season operations dedication service at the Suva Civic Center, Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew says the church service was an opportunity to come together as members of the policing family to seek divine guidance for the two major events that lie ahead in the coming weeks.

He says this is a time to synchronize before a battle just as they would do before a major raid, and that is to come together so that everyone is on the same winning frequency.

He wished all teams the very best and acknowledged the support of their families for their sacrifices.

The 2024 Ratu Sukuna Bowl tournament begins on Tuesday with the Boxing competition.

The main rugby challenge match between the Shop & Save Police and Army will be played on Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
