More than 20 police officers will leave the country this week to attend various courses overseas.
The officers were farewelled by ACP Isikeli Vuniwaqa during a morning tea at the Fiji Police Force Headquarters.
15 officers will leave for China to attend the Anti-Riot Emergency Response and Security of Large Scale Events and two will leave for Russia to attend the Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation in a Globalized World.
Three officers will leave for India this week where one will attend the Global Human Resource Management, the other will attend the Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation and the third officer will attend the Men Engaged Global Symposium.
ACP Vuniwaqa said more overseas courses will take place next year in which more officers will be attending.
He reminded the officers that they are not only representing the organization but the country as a whole.
