Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they will now be liaising with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for further guidance in the case where a woman is alleging she was sexually harassed by a senior business executive earlier this year.
Police questioned the CEO of a major company for almost 3 hours yesterday.
Police also confirmed the 22-year-old woman who had earlier alleged that she was sexually harassed by the senior business executive, has now come forward with more information.
This further information which has been handed over by the alleged victim is now being pursued by investigators.
The woman had earlier told Police that she wanted to withdraw the complaint.
She had filed the complaint in September this year.
The report was lodged at Totogo Police Station but the investigation was taken over by the Criminal Investigations Department.
Naisoro had confirmed over the weekend that the woman has not been forthcoming with the Police investigators and on one occasion, had asked to withdraw the case.
She also says that claims that the case was taken up by the CID after allegations surfaced on social media are false as the CID was already involved in the investigation.
