Delailabasa Community Post Policing team extended their outreach program to the students of Nasekula District School.
The team talked about the dangers of illicit drugs, bullying, road safety and general behavioural issues concerning students.
Police also reminded the students to prevent talking to strangers and to inform their teacher or someone they trust if they need help.
A total of 140 students attend Nasekula District School.
Police have urged parents and guardians to continue talking to their children and have regular discussions where they feel safe to share their problems.
Police say by having these regular 'talanoa' sessions, children will open up, feeling free to share issues they may be facing in school or with their peers.
