Police special response divers have called off the search for others who may have been in a vehicle which veered off the road and landed in a river in Kasavu.
Chief of Operations, ACP Maretino Qiolevu has confirmed that the private vehicle registration JH 227 was located early this morning.
Earlier today, police special response divers recovered the body of a 25 year old man from Baulevu,Nausori and investigators are still gathering information to determine if the victim was traveling alone.
Qiolevu says police will continue their search tomorrow morning as they had to call of the search due to poor visibility.
According to Police, an eyewitness said he heard what sounded like a car crashing early this morning and when he looked out he saw the headlights of a car sinking.
