Police constables Benedito Bolabiu, Laisenia Ratuvabea and Lasaro Turagadrau who allegedly assaulted and poured hot water on a suspect last Monday have been granted bail by Suva Magistrate Waleen George.
They are charged with one count each of act intended to cause grievous harm.
The three police officers allegedly unlawfully wounded the man by pouring hot water on his back and hitting his leg with a concrete block at Pacific Harbour Community Post.
Bolabiu, Ratuvabea, and Turagadrau have been granted bail under strict conditions. They have been ordered to stay away from the witnesses.
The case will be called tomorrow before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
