Police are still searching for the two prisoners that escape from the Suva High Court yesterday

Police have confirmed that they are still searching for the two convicted prisoners who escaped from the Suva High Court yesterday.

Paula Muayara and Vilimoni Saumaki were convicted of aggravated robbery and were to be remanded for sentencing.

Members of the public are requested to call the National Command Centre on 9905296 or Crime Stoppers on 919 if they have any information regarding their whereabouts.

Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations Livai Driu warns that it is also a crime to harbour prisoners.
