Police Blue, Navy, Army Green and Eastern Saints secure spots in Escott Shield semi final

Escott Shield defending champion Stop Cyber Bullying Police Blue along with Fresh’et Navy, Army Green, and FA & CO Eastern Saints have all secured their spots in the semifinals of the competition next weekend.

SCB Police Blues defeated Lomaiviti Black 26-12 in the first quarter final, Army Green edged Lakeba 20-19, Eastern Saints pulled off a narrow 16-13 win against Covenant Brothers while Fresh’et Navy powered through in the final quarter to claim a 29-22 triumph over Nabua.

In the Koroturaga tournament, QVSOB beat Kalekana 38-17, Tovata edged Nakavu 2 22-17, and Covenant Red beat TAHA Rugby 18-17.

Vanuabalavu claimed a win by default against Harlequins, while Suva Stallions also won by default against Dominion Brothers.

Eastern Saints 2 edged out Suvavou 9-3, Marist Old Boys won by default against Lami Cavaliers 2, Nabua White dominated Kalokolevu Green 25-0, Draunivau drew 19-19 with FNU and Army Red defeating Savura 17-16.
