Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne says the players lack of focus against the Western Force last Saturday took him by surprise as he was expecting a very aggressive game.
Byrne highlighted this to fijivillage News after being asked about the players focus leading up to their 48-10 loss to the Force in Perth over the weekend.
He says they had a good training session on Thursday, their captains run on Friday was as good as they have had and he does not know if that lulled the boys into a false sense of security.
The Drua play the Reds at 2.05pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in a must-win game if they want to remain in contention for the playoffs this season.
They then play the Highlanders in Dunedin next week before hosting the Rebels in Lautoka on June 1st.
In other games, the Hurricanes will take on Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm Friday, the Rebels will host the Chiefs at 9.35pm Friday, the Brumbies will play the Crusaders at 4.35pm Saturday, the Blues will battle the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday and the Force will host the Waratahs at 9.35pm Saturday.
