Plans are currently in place to build a new hall for Lelean Memorial School after the Baker Hall was turned into a Church.
The Methodist Church of Fiji’s President Reverend Dr Tevita Banivanua says this is part of their infrastructure improvement process for all the Methodist Schools in the country.
Reverend Banivanua says most of these schools need a hall for extra curricular activities and this has been a challenge for Lelean Memorial School.
He says some school building needs repairs and improvements to allow for a favorable learning environment.
Reverend Banivanua says that people had raised the issue of Lelean not having a school hall after a period of time now.
Meanwhile, a two day Methodist Education Workshop that is currently been held at Dudley Methodist Church is attended by Head Teachers, Managers, Treasurers, and Chairpersons of the Methodist Church run schools.
