Wales head coach Wayne Pivac has revealed that three members of his squad were struck down by coronavirus but have subsequently recovered.
COVID-19 has wreaked havoc throughout the world and Pivac said his team were not immune to it, although he did not identify the players who contracted the virus.
Wales are set to travel to Japan for a one-off Test on Saturday, June 27 before heading to New Zealand to take on the All Blacks in Auckland (July 4) and Wellington (July 11) respectively.
With most countries in lockdown due to COVID-19, there have been plans to rearrange the games for October. Pivac wants the Tests to ahead for the good of the game which, like most sports, has taken a big hit financially.
