The Ministry of Health has confirmed that Phase 1 of the CWM Hospital Master Plan will commence as soon as the Australian company, Johnstaff International Development delivers the plan.
Ministry of Health says this planning will take 3-4 years to make the dream a reality for both countries.
The Australian Government will be investing FJ$14.7 million for the CWM infrastructure master plan which will develop and assess the future health needs for Fiji.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka earlier said that the government is grateful for the assistance provided by the Australian Government which will improve the services for the hospital that is more than 100 years old.
