All Blacks halfback TJ Perenara has been asking for video clips of Fiji Bati star Apisai Koroisau as speculation continues to grow regarding Perenara’s potential switch to the NRL.
Melbourne Storm Hooker Brandon Smith has revealed that he spoke to Perenara recently who asked him to send videos of Koroisau to study the game.
NRL.com reports that discussions are more than rumours and Perenara's acquisition is being discussed internally by Roosters players with the club already facing a hooker crisis.
Roosters enforcer Angus Crighton says Perenara is a class player and would be great to have in the club.
Crighton says he is a rugby fan and to have an All Black come into their team would be pretty cool.
Perenara is currently on a short-term deal with Japanese club NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes which expires in May.
He is currently out of contract with New Zealand Rugby and would need to re-sign to be eligible to play for the All Blacks this season.
