The People’s Alliance Party is meeting this hour to discuss the future of the former Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya, after her explicit video went viral online.
Tabuya was dismissed from her ministerial position last week due to the video.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says Tabuya’s case has been reported to the party’s National Legal and Disciplinary Subcommittee, which has 21 days to respond if she will be expelled from the party or not.
Rabuka stresses that Tabuya’s expulsion from the party will be determined by the party itself.
