A major challenge for the Real Estate Licensing Board remains issues such as the involvement of people selling properties without holding a license from REALB.
REALB Chairman, Dr. Abdul Hassan says they have been actively involved in the operations of REALB on Road Shows, Talanoa Sessions and Public Consultations around the country and this is what they have discovered on the ground.
Dr. Hassan says several Real Estate Agents have also failed to inform the potential buyers or tenants about the stigma associated with a property.
He adds last year, members of the public raised questions on agents not disclosing such information to them.
Dr. Hassan says in the Real Estate National Conference through the information sharing with the agents, REALB and the other stakeholders should be able to find solutions to the challenging issues in the real estate sector.
The conference will be held on the 21st of this month at the Pearl Resort.
