People of Tavua can now benefit from the free eye screening through the Mobile Eye Clinic at the Tavua Hospital this week.

Coordinator, Jovesa Tikomailepanoni says they want as many people to benefit from this outreach program service this year.

Tikomailepanoni says this week they will focus on screening and next week they will conduct surgeries.

He said 55 people benefitted from the service last week in Rakiraki where more than a thousand people turned out to be screened.

According to the coordinator, they have conducted more than 3,000 surgeries around the country since last year.
