People of Lagalaga, Vunivutu, Coqeloa, and Bulileka in the Northern Division will now be able to make submissions on the Registration of the Sex Offenders Bill 2018.

This will be held in various locations from next Wednesday to the 1st of next month.

The Chair of the Justice, Law and Human Rights Committee, Alvick Maharaj says that he will be making changes to the strategies of collecting submissions as they have seen more engagement in the rural settings.

Maharaj says that the sessions will also devote time to explain to the people about what the bill means and after take the peoples submissions.

He says this is a milestone achievement for the committee to get views from the rural areas on the bills.
