Thousands of people living in parts of Navua are currently affected by water supply disruptions due to blockages in supply at Wainikavika.
The Water Authority of Authority of Fiji says the blockages were caused by the recent heavy rain.
It says water supply is expected to be gradually normalised from 5 o'clock this afternoon.
The areas affected include Queens Highway from the Navua Bridge to Navua Hospital. This includes Qaributa, Namelimeli, Tokotoko Highway and Back Road, Togoru, Taiperia and Wainividio.
Areas from the Navua roundabout to Waiyanitu are also affected. This includes Calia Road and Back Road, Rio Settlement, Raiwaqa and Jokhan Primary School.
The Water Authority of Fiji says water carting trucks have been deployed to service the affected areas.
