Former WBO Heavyweight champion Joseph Parker has defeated Zhilei ‘Big Bang’ Zhang despite getting knocked down twice.
Parker won by points, 113-113, 114-112 and 115-111, to become the new WBO interim champion.
The Kiwi makes it five wins, having defeated Deontay Wilder last time out, and now he moves to an overall record of 35 wins and three defeats.
During the fight, Zhang dropped Parker twice.
The first came in Round 3, where Zhang unleashed a huge left hand that put Parker on his backside.
Parker's second fall came in Round 8, where Zhang's two head shots left Parker on one knee and visibly hurt with a minute left in the round.
