Auckland based Pacific fashion label MENA hit the catwalk last night to help raise funds for those affected by Cyclone Winston in Fiji.

Organizer Agnes Loheni says they decided to support Fiji through Habitat for Humanity and build as many cyclone-proof homes as possible.

She says the sellout event which took months of planning is also about showing support.

Loheni says they hope to raise more money in the coming weeks through similar events and then announce the amount raised.

Tropical Cyclone Winston struck in February this year and was the most severe cyclone ever to hit Fiji.
