Pac Harbour community backs youths preparing for FM96 Qiri Kava competition

A group of young people from Pacific Harbour have decided to be part of Fiji Showcase the Xmas Special in a big way during the school holidays as they prepare to compete in the FM96 Qiri Kava competition that will be featured on the Coca-Cola External Stage next week.

The group known as the Vuniuto Squad will have their friends, families and community looking forward to Fiji Showcase The Xmas Special as they will be attending the week long event to support the youth in their community.

Vuniuto Squad Organiser, Lusia Gasau says they were excited to be part of a big event such as Fiji Showcase the Xmas Special.

FM96 Programmes Director and Breakfast Show Host, Tony Rahiman says registrations for the FM96 Qiri Kava competition close at 5pm today.

Meanwhile, there will be multiple shows from international entertainers such as the ZimBoyZ from Zimbabwe and Australia’s most loved clown Christof lined up for families at Fiji Showcase the Xmas Special.

People can also look forward to performances from top local bands such as Voqa ni Delai Dokidoki, Leba Boiyawa e Lomai Nasau and Savu ni Delai Lomai who will be performing on the Coca-Cola external stage.

The ticket price for this year’s Fiji Showcase The Xmas Special is $4 for adults and $3 for children.

Fiji Showcase The Xmas Special will begin at 12pm tomorrow and will continue till next Saturday the 1st of December at the FMF Gymnasium and the ANZ Stadium Carpark.
