The Public Rental Board will be completing the remaining 36 housing units at the Lagilagi Housing Estate.
This has been endorsed by the Cabinet after their first meeting of the year that was held on Tuesday and they have also endorsed that the PRB will also be managing the housing estate.
The Project was initiated by the People’s Community Network Charitable Trust to design and construct low-cost housing units for the settlers in Jittu Estate and to also provide them with an opportunity to obtain homes on affordable terms.
In 2015, the construction of 44 units was completed and the construction of 76 units commenced, of which 40 were completed in 2017.
