The alleged dispute between the Public Rental Board and China Railway no 1 is over alleged breach of contract agreement for the $9 million PRB housing projects in Raiwai.
In a statement released yesterday by the Permanent Secretary for Local Government Taina Tagicakibau the dispute is over cost, compliance and standards.
The statement further highlights that due to the dispute the Suva City Council has therefore issued a stop work order for this month.
Meanwhile, the two sides are now engaged with an Adjudication board with a ruling expected to be made by the first week of next month.
