PM says Tappoo City building in Lautoka will be a big boost for city

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said Tappoo City building in Lautoka will be a big boost for the City and the people of Lautoka.

Commodore Bainimarama who was the chief guest at the ground breaking ceremony of Tappoo City in Lautoka today said anyone who has visited Tappoo City in Suva would know what it has done for the capital City.

He said it has not just provided a world class shopping experience but has lifted the overall image of Suva and now the same standard is coming to Lautoka.

Commodore Bainimarama thanked the Tappoo family for continued investment in the country and said that we need more role models like Tappoos willing to contribute towards the Government’s vision of putting Fiji first.

Tappoo Group executive chairman, Kanti Tappoo said their initiatives have been possible because of their confidence in the Bainimarama Government.

He said they are grateful for the Government’s desire to promote local investment as much as possible in trying to attract foreign investment.

This new project is estimated to be an investment of over $20 million by the Tappoo Group.
