Senior officers of the disciplined forces paid a call to the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama on his 68th birthday this morning.

Led by the RFMF Commander, Brigadier-General Jone Kalouniwai, Police Commissioner, Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho, Navy Commander, Commodore Humphrey Tawake and the Commissioner of Corrections, Francis Kean, the men and women in uniform brought excitement to the Prime Minister's residence as they sang 'Happy Birthday' followed by a toast and loud cheer before first light.

Bainimarama has urged the officers to continue to uphold the rule of law and serve with diligence.

He thanked them for the kind thought and gesture and also acknowledged their prayers and support over the years.
