Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama had a bilateral meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan where they discussed ways to further enhance Fiji's relationship with the UAE.
Bainimarama also attended the opening ceremony for the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week at the ADNEC Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates.
Bainimarama says he fully appreciated the potential and opportunities that their relations can offer and at the same time reaffirming his personal commitment to building stronger bilateral relationship with the UAE.
He thanked the Crown Prince for the assistance of $10 million through UAE Red Crescent in the rehabilitation and construction of three schools in Fiji that were adversely affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston in 2016.
