Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has told the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team that despite the criticism and negative comments about them, he believes they have what it takes to put Fiji back on top of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series points table.
During a visit to the team’s camp in Sigatoka, Rabuka gave a motivational speech to the team as they prepare for the upcoming Los Angeles 7s.,
He has reassured the team that they have the nation’s support regardless of the results.
The Prime Minister also presented the team with their jerseys on Saturday before they flew out to LA last night.
Fiji will play Japan at 7.05 am in their first pool match on Sunday, they will then take on Kenya at 10.18am before playing Australia at 2.05pm on Sunday afternoon.
The cup quarter finals will start at 6.23am next Monday, the semi finals will begin at 10.14am and the cup final will be at 1.28pm next Monday.
