Gone are the days for lantern lamps, diesel generators and school children studying only during the day, for the 175 households in Viria village in Naitasiri.
This is after the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama today commissioned the rural electrification project in the village and set it alight.
Commodore Bainimarama said this community project that started way back in 2006 has today paid off for the villagers and the nearby communities.
