PM calls on students in Kadavu to study hard and focus on their education

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has called on students in Kadavu to continue to study hard and focus on their education.

The Prime Minister is touring the island of Kadavu where he is officiating at several government projects including those projects that are designed to improve the quality of education.

In commending the students, he reminded them on the investment put in by the government to ensure that they have access to quality education.

This includes the recent announcement that the education sector in the country has been allocated the highest allocation in the 2017/2018 national budget.

Bainimarama emphasize to all the students, that education has no limit and they must go forth and progress in fields that they want to pursue and build a career.

He says the government reform priority is on the education sector and he is pleased to see positive changes in Primary, Secondary Schools and tertiary institutions.

The Prime Minister commended the efforts of all the dedicated educators as well as the support of the Development Partners.

Prime Minister Bainimarama commissioned the opening of new classroom blocks, kindergarten blocks, ablution facilities, library rooms and dormitories at Vunisea Secondary School.
