More than 60 DVDs of the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight were seized after the raids conducted at two DVD outlets in Suva last week.
Police Chief Operations Officer, ACP Rusiate Tudravu says the raids were conducted after a complaint was lodged regarding the illegal reproduction and sale of the fight.
Tudravu adds people involved in this illegal activity are being asked to refrain from doing so as they will come down hard on those who sell and distribute copyright material.
Tudravu stresses the enforcement of Fiji’s copyright laws continues to be a challenge and the Fiji Police Force is taking this seriously.
