More than $16,000 was raised during the Fiji Fashion Week Charity Luncheon in support of the Dilkusha Children’s Home.

Fiji Fashion Week Managing Director, Ellen Whippy Knight says they are overwhelmed by the support of the people who turned out in numbers yesterday.

Home Superintendent, Deaconess Leba Laveti says they are always looking forward to improving the standard of living for the children so this contribution will help them fulfill their wishes.

30 people between 1 to 20 years of age are living at Dilkusha Children’s Home.

Eight dresses by international and local designers were up for auction and the proceeds will go to Dilkusha Children’s Home.

The Fiji Fashion Week “Resort Wear Night” will be held from 7.30 tonight at the Vodafone Arena.
