In the spirit of community work, close to 200 people from the village of Korotogo along the Coral coast carried out a cleanup campaign together with staff from Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort yesterday.
The Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort General Manger Peter Hopgood said they have been carrying pout community works along the coral coast with the assistance of villagers along the beach and town as part of the resorts community work programme.
Hopgood said the community work not only benefits the community with a clean and safe environment but it maintains a good relationship with the community members.
Hotel and resort operators along with tourism stakeholders gathered at the Outrigger on the Lagoon resort yesterday to celebrate last year’s achievements and map out plans for 2011.
