In the build up to their preparations for the Olympic Games, the Fiji Men’s 7s team has been in contact with some of the members of the gold medal winning team in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Speaking from the Olympic Games Village in Tokyo in Japan, Coach Gareth Baber says former captain Osea Kolinisau even put together a video to help inspire the current players.
The men’s Olympic 7s competition runs from tomorrow until Wednesday.
The Fiji men’s 7s team will begin their defence of the Olympic gold medal against Japan at 12pm tomorrow and then play Canada at 8pm tomorrow.
Fiji will play Great Britain at 12.30pm Tuesday.
The quarterfinals will start at 8.30pm Tuesday, the semifinals will be played from 2pm Wednesday while the final will be played at 9pm Wednesday.
