Opposition Whip, Ratu Isoa Tikoca appeared in court earlier this afternoon after he was charged by FICAC.
Tikoca is charged with failure to declare his liabilities contrary to section 24 of the Political Parties Registration, Conduct, Funding nd Disclosures Decree.
Tikoca’s lawyer asked Magistrate Makereta Mua for the case to deferred to a later date to allow FICAC to give the full disclosures.
Tikoca has been released on a bail bond of $1,000 and two sureties, Viliame Gavoka and Jiosefa Dulakiverata.
He also has to surrender his passport to the court.
The case has been adjourned to the 28th of next month.
