One killed, police officer injured in US school shooting

One person has been killed in the Knoxville shooting in USA with at least several victims injured.

One person had been detained in connection with the shooting.

Local 10 News reported that the school had been placed under a hard lockdown.

A string of mass shootings have unfolded across the United States since mid-March.
