HOPE Party Leader Tupou Draunidalo says their opinion is, once people are dealing with public money, they should be subject to scrutiny.

She made this comment while the party was making their submission on the Code of Conduct Bill to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Justice, Law and Human Rights.

While responding to a question by committee member, Mosese Bulitavu that broadening the definition of public officials may deter private sector people to join public boards, Draunidalo says public money like tax money is trust money and is given to government for certain purposes.
