Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem has highlighted in a Press Conference that on day 4 of pre-polling the Fiji Elections Office will be conducting pre-poll in 109 venues today.
17 venues in the Central Division, 36 in the Eastern Division, 28 in the North and 28 venues in the Western Division with a total 12,418 voters in today’s pre-poll.
While updating the media on pre-polling, Saneem says the first venue of pre-poll yesterday was conducted at Vunuku Community Hall in Tailevu South where 77 voters turned up to vote.
He adds that of 21 pre-poll venues in the Central Division, 5 venues have completed pre-polls and 16 venues are still in progress.
In the Western division of 32 pre-poll venues, 18 have been completed with 14 still in progress, in the North of the 29 venues 21 pre-poll venues have been completed with 8 still in progress and of the 49 pre-poll venues in the Eastern Division 18 have been completed and 21 pre-poll venues are still in progress.
The Fiji Elections Office has completed 62 venues out of the total 131 venues.
Saneem stated that there were two venues that had a 100% turn out in the Lau Group.
