Fijiana to play South Africa for the 11th-12th place position tomorrow morning at 2.30am.
This is after they lost their fourth straight game 28-22 to Brazil this morning.
The Fijiana lost all their pool games going down 14-17 to Canada, they were then thrashed 40-17 by China and thumped 38-7 by New Zealand this morning.
In the 2016 games in Rio they made the quarter finals and were placed eighth while they won bronze in Tokyo.
Jorja Miller, Jazmin Felix-Hotham and Stacey Waaka scored with Risi Pouri Lane adding the conversions for New Zealand to lead 21-0 at half time.
A bit of indiscipline from the Fijiana side saw the referee flashing Verenaisi Ditavutu a yellow card.
This gave the opportunity for New Zealand to pull ahead with Michaela Blyde, Manaia Nuku and Stacey Waaka scoring her second.
The Fijiana finally got themselves on the board in the dying seconds of the game with a try to Adi Vani Buleki converted by Reapi Uluinasau.
In the quarter finals, New Zealand thrashed China 55-5, USA beat Great Britain 17-7, Canada beat hosts France 19-14 while Australia thumped Ireland 40-7.
New Zealand will meet the USA at 1.30am tomorrow in the first semi final while Canada will play Australia at 2am tomorrow.
The final will be played at 5.45am tomorrow.
