The official residence of the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji has not been sold and it was not put in the market in the past 10 years.
RBF Governor, Ariff Ali has made this comment after questions raised on whether the official residence at Princes Road was sold a few years ago.
Ali says he has a very simple response that the RBF has had the property for over 20 years, well before Ali became Governor, and it still remains the bank’s property.
He stresses the residence was never sold to anyone.
