The official opening of the new ANZ stadium is expected to have all the sports involved to make the opening a special one.
Fiji Sports Council Chairman, Peter Mazey confirmed that the Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will be the chief guest as he had a lot of input in bringing this plan to reality.
He added that the stadium has been a special place as a lot of talented athletes started their sporting career there and this is the reason why they want to involve everyone in the opening ceremony.
The official opening of the new stadium is expected to take place in June.
