A nurse has sustained minor injuries after an accident that happened late yesterday involving a Government vehicle and an ambulance.
The accident occurred in Sawani, Nausori whereby a Government Vehicle which belonged to the Agriculture Department in Koronivia collided with an ambulance which was carrying a patient at the time.
Police have confirmed that the patient and the driver escaped injuries while the Nurse sustained minor injuries.
The ambulance was heading to the CWM Hospital when the accident occurred.
Police say that the driver has been questioned and released.
Investigations continue.
