Northern California country reports fourth case of coronavirus A fourth case of novel coronavirus was reported in Santa Clara County, California.
The case involves an adult woman who was in contact with another coronavirus patient in the county, the department said in statement that she is not ill or hospitalized and is isolated at home.
The first case of coronavirus in Santa Clara County was reported on the 31st of January the patient was released from isolation on the 20th of February 20.
The second coronavirus case was confirmed on the 2nd of February the person remains in home isolation.
The third case was reported February 28, and that individual is currently hospitalized.
The novel coronavirus has killed more than 2,900 people worldwide, the vast majority in mainland China. There have been more than 85,000 global cases, with infections on every continent except Antarctica.
