Non-stop entertainment this afternoon during Navtarang and Radio Sargam's Rang Barse Stage Show

People will enjoy seven hours of non-stop entertainment during this afternoon’s Navtarang and Radio Sargam Rang Barse Stage Show at Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi.

The show is sponsored by APCO Paints, Ram Sami and Sons and Digicel Shake 'n' Win.

Many people have travelled from the Western Division for the show.

Pundit Amichand Sharma came from Yasiyasi, Tavua on Thursday for the show.

The 64-year-old who lives alone in Tavua is staying with his sister’s family in Vatuwaqa and says he is looking forward to see the announcers in different colours.

Navtarang and Radio Sargam Content Director, Satya Nand says people are coming from as far as Rakiraki, Tavua and Sigatoka to watch the show.

He says they are expecting a crowd of more than six thousand people as the weather has cleared up in the Central Division.

Navtarang and Radio Sargam personalities will entertain the crowd from 7pm to 9 o’clock tonight.

Nand says apart from the 5 to 6 Masala Mix team, there will other groups entertaining the crowd.

He says these groups are Rewa Naari Sabha which is a ladies mandali from Rewa, Shalen Saqamoli and Group from Nadi, Amit Kumar Dolly and Group from Lautoka, Soni and Team will entertain the group with their band as well as the Yuva Dance Group.

Nand says the Rang Birangi Mithayan Competition sponsored by Golden Harvest will also be judged at 2pm today.

He adds there will also be surprise giveaways for the audience.

Nand also says audience will not have to worry about parking as there is space for 500 vehicles to park at the play ground beside the venue.
