No team in this tournament is unbeatable and it just goes to show the level of competition these teams bring.

This was highlighted by Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s forward Talei Wilson after losing to USA 24-10 earlier this morning during the Fiji Airways Mini International 7s tournament leg 2 at Churchill Park.

Wilson says there were some upsets caused at the tournament and its surprising to see that France has not lost any games so far in this tournament and it really shows how these teams have developed in the game.

She says playing against top teams in this tournament has also helped them with their preparation for the upcoming 2023-2024 HSBC World Sevens Series season which kicks off in December, especially having new players in the team playing against some of the best in the game.

Wilson says they will want to finish this tournament on a high despite their loss this morning and they will want to improve on the areas they lacked as they prepare for the remaining two matches in the tournament.

The Fijiana side will take on Aussie Green next in their final round-robin match of the day.

The finals will kick off at 3.40pm. In the games played earlier today, Fijiana lost to USA 24-10, France thrashed NZ Black Ferns 24-7, while Australia Green decimated Australia Gold 31-0
