There will be no sporting activities in schools before April next year.

Minister for Education Premila Kumar highlighted this when questioned by fijivillage if the Ministry is still planning to organize sports in schools next year considering the time limitation.

Kumar says the term for years 12 and 13 students will finish in January followed by exams and other things and it is obvious that there is no room for sports before April.

She says anything after April can be considered however they will need to have the discussion with the relevant sporting organizations.
