Suva Private Hospital.

There is no risk of employees losing their jobs at the Suva Private Hospital.

This was highlighted by the Managing Director of BSP Life, Malakai Naiyaga during the announcement that Suva Private Hospital has been acquired by Oceania Hospitals Pte Limited which will be trading as MIOT Pacific Hospitals.

Naiyaga says they will only bring new specialties in the hospital which will then help the existing staff increase their knowledge and expertise in the medical field.

He says that Fiji currently lacks a lot of knowledge in the medical sector and as a result a lot of patients often go overseas to seek medical help.

Naiyaga says the aim of the renaming of the hospital and the inclusion of 63 new specialties which are offered by MIOT International is to bring a cheaper and closer way for patients to be served in Fiji and the Pacific region.
