There will be no love lost as the defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Champions the Crusaders take on the Blues in the first semi final tomorrow.

Crusaders Assistant Coach Scott Hansen says the Blues were a formidable team who deserved their spot.

He says they will need to prepare for a Blues team that understands their strength, which is the ball in hand.

He adds the Blues are a dynamic team and are powerful and the Crusaders can expect the men in blue to hold the ball more.

Crusaders prop Tamaiti Williams says he is excited about the idea of coming up against the likes of All Blacks Ofa Tu’ungafasi and Nepo Laulala in the front row.

He says there’s nothing better than playing the Blues in Christchurch.

Williams says the Blues have got some good experience in their front-row and they are mentors to him.

The Crusaders will take on the Blues at 7.05pm.

The Chiefs will host the Brumbies in the second semi final at 7.05pm Saturday.
